Application of HumiSeal 2UV11

The cleanliness of the substrate is crucial for the proper application of HumiSeal 2UV11. Surfaces must be free from moisture, dirt, wax, grease, flux residues, and any other contaminants. Encapsulants can be effectively applied to substrates that have been properly cleaned before coating, as well as to substrates assembled with low-residue “no clean” materials. Users should conduct thorough testing to ensure compatibility between the encapsulants and their specific assembly materials, process conditions, and cleanliness levels.

HumiSeal® 2UV11 is a two-part polyurethane system that achieves a tack-free surface and functional strength when exposed to UV light. A secondary curing process ensures that areas not directly exposed to UV light are fully polymerized.
