Application of HumiSeal® 2UV10
The cleanliness of the substrate is essential for the successful application of HumiSeal 2UV10. Surfaces must be free from moisture, dirt, wax, grease, flux residues, and any other impurities. Encapsulants can be effectively applied to substrates that have been cleaned before coating, as well as those assembled using low-residue "no clean" materials. It is important for users to perform appropriate testing to confirm the compatibility between the encapsulants and their specific assembly materials, processing conditions, and cleanliness requirements.
HumiSeal® 2UV10 is a two-part UV-curable polyurethane system that gels under UV light. This system forms a tack-free surface and achieves functional strength with UV exposure times as brief as 20 seconds. A secondary curing process ensures that areas shielded from UV light are fully polymerized.
