Application of HumiSeal 2A15-B

The cleanliness of the substrate is crucial for the effective application of HumiSeal 2A15-B. Surfaces must be free from moisture, dirt, wax, grease, flux residues, and any other contaminants. Encapsulants can be successfully applied to substrates that have been cleaned before coating, as well as to substrates assembled using low-residue “no clean” materials. Users should conduct thorough testing to ensure compatibility between the encapsulants and their specific assembly materials, processing conditions, and cleanliness standards.

HumiSeal® 2A15-B is a two-part polyurethane system with a 1:2 mixing ratio, designed for high-performance potting and encapsulation applications. HumiSeal® 2A15-B forms a tough, flexible polymer that provides protection for electronics against thermal shock and vibration.
