Application of HumiSeal® 2E25

The cleanliness of the substrate is critical for the effective application of HumiSeal 2E25. Surfaces must be free from moisture, dirt, wax, grease, flux residues, and all other contaminants. Encapsulants can be applied successfully to substrates that have been cleaned before coating, as well as to substrates assembled with low-residue "no clean" materials. It is recommended that users conduct sufficient testing to ensure compatibility between the encapsulants and their specific assembly materials, process conditions, and cleanliness standards.

HumiSeal® 2E25 is an unfilled epoxy resin system that is ideal for use in adhesive and encapsulant applications. This product can be mixed at various ratios to adjust the hardness and bond strength for different materials. HumiSeal 2E25 provides excellent electrical insulation and is resistant to gases, water, petroleum products, and acids. It is also FDA compliant according to Title 21 of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations, FDA Chapter 1, Subpart B, Sections 175.105 and 175.300.
