Application of HumiSeal 2C51
For successful application of HumiSeal® 2C51, it is crucial that the substrate is clean and free of contaminants such as moisture, dirt, wax, grease, flux residues, and other impurities. Any contamination under the coating could cause assembly failures. The recommended mixing ratio of Part A to Part B is 1:1 by volume (or weight). Before use, HumiSeal® 2C51 Parts A and B should be thoroughly mixed until a homogeneous blend is achieved, avoiding vigorous mixing to prevent air pockets.
Spraying
HumiSeal® 2C51 can be applied using conventional spraying equipment in a well-ventilated environment to ensure vapors and mist are carried away from the operator. No thinner is required or recommended for use with HumiSeal® 2C51.
Brushing
The uniformity of the coating film depends on the component density and the operator’s technique.
