The manufacturer’s legacy comparative SV table publishes complete numerical values for SV55, SV80, SV110 and SV135. Although Syensqo currently lists Galden® SV70 as a product, the public product page does not provide the same complete numerical property table. Engineers should therefore obtain the current grade-specific TDS rather than using values from Galden® HT70 or another product family as substitutes.
Galden® SVX should also be evaluated separately. Syensqo describes SVX as a high-performance inert PFPE fluid for heat-transfer and dielectric applications requiring thermal stability, chemical inertness and compatibility with metals, plastics and elastomers. It is not presented simply as another numbered cleaning-solvent grade.
For many precision-cleaning processes, SV80 offers the most balanced profile. It is appropriate when SV55 or SV70 evaporates too quickly, but the longer drying time of SV110 or SV135 is unnecessary.
