Application of HumiSeal 1A33 LOS
HumiSeal® 1A33 LOS can be effectively applied to substrates that are pre-cleaned or assembled using low-residue, “no-clean” materials. It is recommended that users conduct thorough compatibility testing to ensure the coating suits their specific assemblies, materials, process conditions, and cleanliness standards. HumiSeal® 1A33 LOS Pre-Blends are pre-diluted to specific viscosities for immediate use, requiring no additional thinning. Customers should determine the appropriate Pre-Blend for their equipment and application method before commercial deployment. For additional guidance on Pre-Blends and equipment, HumiSeal® Technical Support is available to assist.
Dipping
Maintaining a controlled rate of immersion and withdrawal (5-15 cm/min) ensures even application and a uniform coating layer. As solvents evaporate during the process, viscosity may increase and can be adjusted by adding small amounts of Thinner. Regular monitoring of dip tank viscosity using simple tools like Zahn or Ford viscosity cups is recommended.
Spraying
HumiSeal® 1A33 LOS Pre-Blends are compatible with conventional spray equipment. Spraying should be conducted in a well-ventilated environment to direct vapors and mist away from the operator. The specific Pre-Blend and spray pressure should be tailored to the spray equipment and operator technique.
Brushing
HumiSeal® 1A33 LOS Pre-Blends can be applied with a brush. Achieving a uniform film depends on the choice of Pre-Blend and the operator’s application technique.
Storage
Store HumiSeal® 1A33 LOS and its Pre-Blends in tightly sealed containers, away from extreme heat or cold. Ideal storage temperatures range from 0°C to 35°C. Before use, allow the product to stabilize at room temperature (18°C to 32°C) for at least 24 hours.

Application of HumiSeal® Conformal Coatings must comply with all relevant Local and National Health and Safety regulations. The solvents in HumiSeal® 1A33 LOS and its Pre-Blends are flammable and should not be used near open flames or sparks. Work only in well-ventilated areas to avoid inhaling vapors or spray. Prevent contact with skin and eyes. Consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use for comprehensive safety information.
