HumiSeal® 1A33 LOF is a highly protective polyurethane coating that offers excellent physical and chemical resistance. Supplied as a convenient one-part solvent system, it cures easily, providing enhanced durability. Once fully cured, the properties of HumiSeal® 1A33 LOF are comparable to those of other products in the HumiSeal® 1A33 range.
Dipping
To ensure even coating deposition and achieve a uniform film, a controlled immersion and withdrawal rate of 5-15 cm/min is recommended. As solvent evaporates during application, viscosity increases and should be adjusted by adding small amounts of thinner. It is important to regularly check viscosity in the dip tank using a simple measuring device such as a Zahn or Ford viscosity cup.
Spraying
HumiSeal® 1A33 LOF Pre-Blends are available for spraying with conventional equipment. Spray in a well-ventilated environment to ensure that vapors and mist are effectively carried away the operator. The appropriate pre-blend and spray pressure will depend on the equipment used and the operator’s technique.
Brushing
HumiSeal® 1A33 LOF Pre-Blends can also be applied by brushing. The uniformity of the film will depend on the chosen pre-blend and the operator's technique.
Storage
HumiSeal® 1A33 LOF should be stored in tightly sealed containers, away extreme temperatures. It can be stored at temperatures ranging 0 to 35°C. Before use, allow the product to equilibrate for 24 hours at room temperature (18 to 32°C).
Caution
When applying HumiSeal® Conformal Coatings, follow all local and national health and safety regulations. The solvents in HumiSeal® 1A33 LOF and its Pre-Blends are flammable. Avoid use near open flames or sparks, and work in well-ventilated areas to avoid inhaling vapors or mist. Keep away skin and eyes. Always consult the SDS before use.
