Galden® HT 70 is a low-boiling, dielectric PFPE heat-transfer fluid with a nominal boiling point of 70°C, kinematic viscosity of approximately 0.50 cSt at 25°C and a pour point below −110°C. These characteristics make it particularly relevant to low-temperature circulation and electronic cooling systems.

1. Semiconductor Process Chillers

Galden® HT 70 is commonly used as a circulating heat-transfer medium in temperature-control units serving semiconductor fabrication equipment.

Typical processes include:

  • Plasma dry etching
  • Chemical and plasma-enhanced vapor deposition
  • Physical vapor deposition
  • Ion implantation
  • Wafer-temperature control
