Fomblin® Z 15

Fomblin® Z 15 is a PFPE-based oil with excellent anti-wear properties at both low and high temperatures. It is non-flammable and inert when in contact with liquid and gaseous oxygen. Additionally, it has a low evaporation rate and offers excellent thermal and electrical resistance.

Chemical Resistance

• Chlorine Resistance: Withstands exposure to chlorine without degradation.
• Sour Gas Resistance: Withstands exposure to sour gases commonly found in oil and gas production, such as hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide.
• Good Glycol Resistance: Compatible with glycols used in antifreeze and hydraulic fluids.
• Biofuel Resistance: Resistant to degradation by biofuels.
• Fuel Resistance: Compatible with a variety of fuels, including gasoline and diesel.
• Alkali Resistance: Withstands exposure to alkaline solutions.
• Acid Resistance: Resistant to attack by acids.
• Alcohol Resistance: Unaffected by alcohol.
• Mineral/Synthetic Oil Resistance: Compatible with both mineral and synthetic oils.
