Application of Krytox XHT-BDZ

Krytox XHT-BDZ grease is ideal for lubricating low-speed bearings or housings, but will lose oil when used at high speeds in enclosed bearings. The base oil in Krytox XHT-BDZ may begin to slowly evaporate as temperatures exceed 360°C (680°F), with the rate of evaporation increasing as temperatures continue to rise. However, the product is capable of withstanding temperature spikes up to and exceeding 400°C (752°F). To ensure optimum performance, re-lubrication may be necessary at such elevated temperatures.
