Key features of Krytox XHT-BD

• Krytox XHT-BD grease is a special grease designed to operate effectively at extremely high temperatures, with low oil volatility and a non-melting thickener. This allows Krytox XHT-BD grease to be used at much higher temperatures than conventional greases.

• Krytox XHT-BD greases provide excellent lubrication over a wide temperature range, are non-flammable, and are chemically inert. Krytox XHT-BD greases help extend lubrication intervals and increase equipment life.

• Krytox XHT-BD greases are optimized for applications with temperatures of 288°C (500°F) or higher where standard PTFE thickeners may melt. The grease uses a special, non-melting thickener that maintains superior performance at high temperatures. The base oil in the grease has a high viscosity and low volatility at high temperatures, helping to protect bearings and other equipment in extreme temperature conditions. Krytox XHT-BD is especially ideal for low-speed bearings and housings where high-speed oil shearing may occur.
