  • Krytox GPL 246 greases are distinguished by their long life, superior lubricity, and reliable stability at high temperatures. In particular, the addition of copper powder enhances the grease’s thermal conductivity, making it an ideal choice for applications requiring improved heat transfer efficiency. However, this can come with some drawbacks such as increased noise and bearing wear.

  • In terms of thermal performance, Krytox GPL 206 achieves a thermal conductivity of 0.127 W/m·K at 40 °C (104 °F). Meanwhile, Krytox GPL 246 grease with improved composition provides a thermal conductivity of up to 0.272 W/m·K at the same temperature, optimally meeting performance requirements in the most demanding applications.
