• Krytox GPL 204 is made from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), contains no additives, and is an ideal choice for components exposed to chemicals. The product is widely used in areas such as valves, instruments, or bearings exposed to chemicals such as alcohols, ammonia, solvents, steam, acids, bases, as well as in oxygen systems including LOX (Liquid Oxygen) and GOX (Gaseous Oxygen).

• Krytox GPL 204 excels in extreme temperature conditions where conventional lubricants begin to degrade at 99°C (210°F) and become too viscous below 18°C ​​(0°F). The D-3336 test at 177°C (350°F) and 10,000 rpm showed that competing hydrocarbon lubricants typically failed in less than 1,000 hours. However, Krytox GPL 204 grease has demonstrated exceptional durability, operating reliably for over 5,000 hours, even at temperatures up to 200°C (392°F).
