G. BESLUX FLUOR HT-2

G. BESLUX FLUOR HT-2 grease is a white, homogeneous, butter-like, perfluorinated polyether grease with excellent resistance to oxygen, chemicals and high temperatures. This grease operates continuously at temperatures up to 260ºC and can withstand a peak temperature of 300ºC for short periods.

Features of G. BESLUX FLUOR HT-2

G. BESLUX FLUOR HT-2 grease is insoluble in most solvents, so such solvents are not suitable for cleaning mechanisms and tools that come contact with the product.

Note:

In animal tests, G. BESLUX FLUOR HT-2 showed low toxicity when ingested or applied to the skin, indicating it is not toxic to the operator.

If heated above 300ºC, inhalation should be avoided, as the residues thermal decomposition can be toxic and irritating. Therefore, smoking should be avoided when handling the product.

Applications of G. BESLUX FLUOR HT-2

G. BESLUX FLUOR HT-2 has excellent thermal and chemical stability, making it highly effective in the following applications:

• Electric motor bearings
• All applications in the food industry
• Rolling bearings in oven wheels
• Temperature-stable bearings in clamping chains
• Spreader chain bearings in drying plants
• Re-entry bearings in spreader chains
• Tenter chains with bearings
• Vacuum units
• Handling and pumping of alkaline and acidic products
• Handling and pumping of gasoline, fuel oil, and oils
• Handling and pumping of solvents

Notes on use of G. BESLUX FLUOR HT-2:

• G. BESLUX FLUOR HT-2 must be applied to parts that are completely clean and free any type of contamination or protection, such as oil, grease, rust inhibitors, or dust.
• The grease is insoluble in most solvents, so these solvents are not suitable for cleaning parts or tools that come contact with the product.
• In case of heating above 280ºC, avoid inhaling the exhaust gases the thermal decomposition of the product, as they are toxic and irritating.
• G. BESLUX FLUOR HT-2 can cause skin and eye irritation. When using the product, wear gloves and goggles. If the product comes contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with water.

To remove G. BESLUX FLUOR HT-2 parts without issues, use a fluorinated solvent, such as BESLUX FLUOR DL SOLVENT
