Fomblin® Y grades are perfluorinated polyether inert fluids for use as lubricants in vacuum pumps. Fomblin® PFPE fluids are a mixture of fluorinated polymers obtained by a photochemical process that begins with hexafluoropropylene. Fomblin® PFPE lubricants can be used in their original form, they are often formulated into greases for specific applications in the chemical, electronic, military, nuclear, data processing and other industries in need of high performance lubrication.
